Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

The rainy season in Northern California seems as though it’s officially kicked-off today.  Although we’ve been dumped on sporadically in the past month, today’s weather especially has me feeling the symtoms of (SAD), Seasonal Affective Disorder.  My dog and I were going for our morning walk when we came across the gentleman in the photo above.  As Kocoa, my dog, released a golden shower, I kept my eyes on the man making sure I saw the rise and fall of his chest.  Hallelujah—he was breathing!

Later on today when I returned home from work I passed out and took another disco nap.  Those disco naps can really get you in the winter.  Before you know it, it’s 7 p.m., dark, you’re alone, and no one’s cooking you dinner.  That makes me sad.
