Pre-Election Day Gone Wild

A couple of weeks ago I took this photo before diving into a burrito from papalote.  I thought it was a good companion to have while briefing myself for tomorrow’s General Election.  Although I vote-by-mail, I still procrastinated on completing the ballot with my #2 pencil, until now.

Before the San Francisco Giants won The World Series this evening, I watched an episode of Charlie Brown on hulu.  Unbeknownst to me, in this episode titled, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: It’s the Great Pumpkin… Linus, Lucy’s younger brother, decides to run for student body president.  It was a cute, clever, relevant episode that lightly touched on the bureaucracy of an election and its electoral candidates.

I do hope that everyone stays safe tonight—don’t forget to vote tomorrow.  Though your voice will be hoarse and your body still reeking of alcohol from the weekend; this election requires us to come together as a community similarly as we are tonight. GO GIANTS!!

  1. Hi M

That burrito looks scrumptious. I love all these old shows you post. I’m quite the nostalgic and they certainly bring me back. I was really hoping to head out to SFO for a progressive public education conference, but frankly the funds are not available what with the wedding quickly approaching. How I’d love a bite of that burrito 🙂 Have a lovely weekend. Oh and I’m going to be moving from Blogger to WordPress…we’ll be neighbors.

    Happy Weekend
